It was a benefit gone to the dogs as Sandra Baldwin and Bryan Morris hosted a dinner to raise funds for New Leash on Life at regaled Buckhead resto, Aria. Executive Chef Gerry Klaskala feted fifty friends of the four-legged with a gourmet three-course meal of seared sea scallops, herb roasted breast of Springer Mountain chicken and Valrhona chocolate cream pie. And for a pet project, Pastry Chef Kathryn King sent guests home with a gourmet doggie bag with handmade dog biscuits. The evening was anything but ruff for guests David York, Dusty and Rhonda Milner, Bill and Susan Fralic, Allan and Aida Flamm, Susan Forehand, Howard and Marilyn Krone, Ginny Milner and Jada Loveless,  who bid on live auction items, including culinary packages donated by Atlanta’s most celebrated chefs. Tony Conway of A Legendary Event provided a five-course dinner for twelve to be prepared at the winner’s home (including service, décor and wine from Empire Distributors) and Aria’s own Gerry Klaskala and Kathryn King, Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia, Carvel Grant-Gould of Canoe and Shaun Doty of Shaun’s banded together to offer not one - but two lucky auction winners the five-course meal of a lifetime.
