Timothy Tew celebrated two decades in the Atlanta art business with 600 guests at a high-style fete at TEW Galleries. The 20th Anniversary Party doubled as a fundraiser for CHRIS Kids, Inc. Tew matched the $20 donations given that evening, raising a total of $2,975 for the organization, which is dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse by healing children, strengthening families and building community.
The Anniversary Party & Show featured specially created new works from gallery artists, but the atmosphere that evening was far from a typical opening.
Barry Burden, almost a dead ringer for Bono, added a bonus element to the party as guests lined up to have a photo taken with him. Event Designer William Fogler of Wm. Events styled the party, and brought a bevy of champagne boys to line the red carpet. Tew-tinis were served inside and Bentleys surrounded the red carpet, adding just an extra touch of glam to the evening. A worthy cause, Tew-tinis, Champagne boys and Bentleys - what a work of art!
