The Forward Arts Foundation – Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show Luncheon marked its 15th anniversary by welcoming the icon of American couture, Oscar de la Renta and the presentation of his Cruise and Spring 2008 Collections, as honored guest.
Among the 500 stylish Atlantans in attendance, we spotted Luncheon Chair Betsy West, Stephanie Blank, Sandra Baldwin, Mary Portman, Jane Dean and Susan Forehand many of whom were divinely draped in “Oscar” designs. Joining Betsy in greeting guests were Honorary Chairman Marjorie West, Forward Arts Foundation Chairman Cathy Christians and Cathie Wilson, General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Corporate sponsors The Mansion on Peachtree, Wachovia Wealth Management and Hennessy Jaguar provided generous contributions to the Luncheon, one of the Forward Arts Foundation’s principal fund-raising events. Event proceeds of over $120,000 benefited the Foundation, which, since its founding in 1965, has supported the High Museum of Art, the Atlanta History Center and the visual arts in the city. |
