The 19th annual Legendary Party titled “Metamorphosis: The Legend of the Butterfly,” was held on Nov. 3 at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. Led by chair Juli Owens, the gala raised more than $658,000 for Shepherd Center’s Irene and George Woodruff Family Residence Center.
The center, whose mission is research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury and disease, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular problems was co-founded by Harold and Alana Shepherd.
Honorary chair Angie Marshall was recognized for her many years of service and support. The indefatigable Sally Dorsey is set to chair next year’s gala. www.shepherd.org. |
