| Co-chairs Alyce Toonk and Mot Dinos, Open Hand Executive Director Stephen Woods, and Party in the Kitchen emcees Karyn Greer and Evelyn Mims prepared delectable delights at the VIP Chef Event of Open Hand's Party in the Kitchen.
Community leaders acting as chefs de cuisine created hors d’oeuvres for guests at the VIP Chef Event. The special chefs for the evening included Sally Dorsey, Eileen DuBose, Cindy Fowler, Eleanor Ringel Cater, D. Jack Sawyer Jr., Lisa and Bill Tush, Suchita Vadlamani and Judy Zaban. They served their own recipes for appetizers such as salmon tartare, scallop puffs, smoked pork nachos, crab dip, and pimento cheese paté.
Following the Chef Event, guests gathered at nearby Mason Murer Fine Art for the Main Event where they closed the night by bringing the party in the kitchen to a party on the dance floor.
